This statement is intended for the customers and/or suppliers of Horsten Lederwaren B.V. This statement will further explain how Horsten Lederwaren B.V. deals with personal information provided by you. “Perso-nal data” is or could be related to a natural person. Data can be easily qualified as personal data and can be used as personal data through a combination with other data. Examples of personal data are: name and address details, e-mail addresses, IP addresses and telephone numbers.

Horsten Leather Goods B.V. calls attention to the fact that the personal data you provide to us is collected and used, as this is required to conclude and implement any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties where we purchase goods and/or services.

Without this data it would be impossible to send you a quotation, determine which specifications or requi-rements a certain service should comply to, to perform work, submit invoices, make payments and be able to have a smooth and efficient communication with you about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If, however, you do not provide us with any per-sonal data or with insufficient personal data, we may not be able to perform the aforementioned activities.

Transfer to third parties

With respect to the execution of the agreement, we may have to provide your personal data to parties that perform work at our instructions. We furthermore use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server-space provider. In conclusion, as we use a newsletter-mailing service, your personal data is passed on to the provider of this service.

Direct marketing

With your permission we will store and use the personal data you have provided in order to inform you personally in the future by e-mail of our existing and new services and to possibly send you an offer. Every time we send you a mailing, you have the option to let us know that you no longer appreciate receiving any further mailings from us. The seven-year period corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the purpose of the Tax Authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.

Your rights

You have the right:

  • to view and/or obtain your own personal data
  • to (cause to) change your personal details if they contain inaccuracies
  • to (cause to) delete your own personal data or to have their use limited
  • to have your own personal data transferred by us to another party
